Are you accepting new clients?
Yes, we are accepting new clients. If you or someone you know needs help, simply contact us. The sooner you do, the sooner a journey to recovery and relief can begin.
What services do you provide?
Day One offers a continuum of care —assessment and evaluation, residential, outpatient, medication management and case management. We provide substance use residential treatment for 13–20 year olds, outpatient therapy for individuals and families, case management for all ages, medication-assisted treatment and counseling for substance abuse disorder, psychiatric medication management, school-based counseling, and DEEP (Driver Education and Evaluation Program).
Can I be in more than one program?
Absolutely. Issues rarely appear in isolation, therefore it is common that individuals need more than one program to heal.
How do I get my child into the Residential Program?
Simply reach out to us, and we will help. Call us, email us, fax us, or fill out our referral form, so we can get started.
Do you have an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
At this time, we do not have an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
How much does DEEP cost?
For more information on DEEP, including costs, please contact us.
Does my insurance cover services?
Most insurances cover mental health and/or substance use counseling, however, each plan is different. Contact your insurance provider for your specific coverage details.
Do you accept MaineCare?
Yes, we do!
Do you accept other insurances?
Day One works with most commercial insurances including Harvard Pilgrim, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, and others. We also work with MaineCare and Medicare. If you would like, contact us, and we can let you know whether we work with your insurance.
Do you only have services for adolescence?
No, we are here for anyone who is in need of our services. We focus on the individualized needs of those we care for and create customized treatment for the entire family—children, adolescents, and adults.
How do I restart services?
Simply get in touch with us, and we can restart services. Call, email, fax, or complete a referral online.
How long does it take to hear back from someone after I’ve contacted you?
You will hear from our referral specialist during business hours Monday–Friday within 24–48 hours of contacting us.
